The following is an email I received that is being passed around. I figured What better way to pass on an email than to publish it on web sites, so here it is on mine. If you don't have a web site, send a link to this to all your contacts so they can see this too. We need to silence the ACLU so I can change the words above from Dedicated to the ACLU to "In Memory Of..."

Benjamin Franklin said, "You will be Geverned by God, or by God you'll be Governed". Many of our founding fathers made frequent references to God and Christ, and they prayed at the beginning of their meetings. They referred to the Bible before writing the constitution and the federalist papers. how ACLU can you handle all that and still say our forefathers wanted seperation of church and state? If was obvious also by some of our founding fathers, that some day someone would come along, (like the ACLU), and destroy the principles by which this nation was made great.

As far as the ACLU is concerned, what difference does it make to you and how you interpret what someone said 200 years ago, we are a nation of the people, by the people and for the people, and we WANT God in our consitution, our pledge, and in our prayers. When you die you will want Him also, you just don't know it yet... But you will...

If you look closely at the picture above, you will note that all the Marines pictured are bowing their heads. That's because they're praying.
This incident took place at a recent ceremony honoring the birthday of the corps, and it has the ACLU up in arms. "These are federal employees," says Lucius Traveler, a spokesman for the ACLU , "on federal property and on federal time. For them to pray is clearly an establishment of religion, and we must nip this in the bud immediately."
When asked about the ACLU's charges, Colonel Jack Fessender, speaking for the Commandant of the Corps said (cleaned up a bit), "Screw the ACLU." GOD Bless Our Warriors, Send the ACLU to France
